Cantante e pianista, debutta all’età di undici anni. Dopo un periodo d’intensa attività conosce l’amico e mentore Aldo Ciccolini, con il quale stringe un sodalizio artistico che lo porta ad affrontare repertori fin troppo spesso dimenticati. Il suo approccio alla musica, sempre eclettico, lo porta a pensare fuori dagli schemi. Incide l’integrale per violoncello e pianoforte e per due pianoforti di Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, per due pianoforti di Giuseppe Martucci, dedica un’intera incisione al NOTTURNO spaziando da John Field a Gian Francesco Malipiero, realizza un’incisione dedicata alla produzione per Quintetto classico di Astor Piazzolla con artisti di fama internazionale con i quali fonda il DEUSTANGO, ma si avvicina anche alla musica contemporanea con PRESAGI di Albert Bonera, e ancora si dedica alla storia del tango in tourneè con Nada. Questo magma musicale viene recensito entusiasticamente scrivendo “he can produce a lovely sound, he is sensitive…” (Schonberg) “…asseconda con intelligente accuratezza la variegata tavolozza timbrica…dando equilibrato sfogo ai tratti più calienti ed alle dolcezze più o meno sensuali…” “…riveste Turina di brillanti penne di pavone…”.

Contemporaneamente agli anni di perfezionamento pianistico, in cui frequenta Accademie e Artisti internazionali, si dedica al canto lirico sotto la guida dapprima di Mary Lindsey e poi di Diego D`Auria e Monica Bozzo. La timbrica ricca di squillo unita alla profondità del suo registro lo avvicinano dapprima allo studio dei Lieder di Schubert e Schumann, per poi dedicarsi profondamente alle opere di Verdi, Rossini e Mozart. Recenti le sue interpretazioni al teatro CARCANO e al teatro COCCIA, in prima serata, ne LA CAMBIALE DI MATRIMONIO. Alla ricerca di nuove sfide e di repertori di grande valore artistico ed esecutivo, collabora altresì alla realizzazione di alcuni mottetti di Bach con l’OTTETTO BACH e più di recente all’esecuzione dei CHICHESTER PSALMS di L. BERNSTEIN per la Giornata della Memoria, oltre che ne LA FINTA SEMPLICE, Opera buffa di M. Varriale e in BILLY BUDD di G. F. Ghedini in prima serata presso la SALA VERDI di Milano.

Singer and pianist, he debuted at the age of eleven. After a period of intense activity, he met his friend and mentor Aldo Ciccolini, with whom he also formed an artistic partnership that led him to face repertoires that were too often forgotten. His approach to music, always eclectic, led him to think outside the box. He records the complete for cello and piano and for two pianos by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, for two pianos by Giuseppe Martucci, dedicates an entire recording to NOTTURNO, ranging from John Field to Gian Francesco Malipiero, he made a musical recording dedicated to the production of the classic Quintet of Astor Piazzolla with internationally renowned artists with whom he founded DEUSTANGO, but he also approaches contemporary music with Albert Bonera’s PRESAGI, and still devotes himself to the history of tango on tour with Nada. This musical magma has been enthusiastically reviewed as follows: “he can produce a lovely sound, he is sensitive …” (Schonberg) “… follows the variegated tonal palette with intelligent accuracy … giving balanced outburst to the most calient traits and the most or least sensual sweetness…” … covering Turina with brilliant peacock feathers … “.

Concurrently with the years of piano refinement, in which he attended international Academies and Artists, he devoted himself to opera singing first under the guidance of Mary Lindsey, then Diego D`Auria and Monica Bozzo. The richly ringing timbre combined with the depth of its register brings it closer to the study of Schubert and Schumann’s Lieder, to then devote himself deeply to the works of Verdi, Rossini and Mozart. Recent interpretations at the CARCANO theatre and at the COCCIA theatre, in the early evening, in LA CAMBIALE DI MATRIMONIO. In search of new challenges and repertoires of great artistic and executive value, he also collaborates in the realization of some Bach motets with the Bach Octet and more recently in the performance of the CHICHESTER PSALMS of L. BERNSTEIN for the Day of Remembrance, in addition to THE SIMPLE FAKE, a comic opera by M. Varriale and in BILLY BUDD by G. F Ghedini in prime time at the SALA VERDI in Milan.
